Texas Arbor Day - 1st Friday in November

Texas Arbor Day has moved...
House Bill 419 signed by Gov. Perry
The Texas Chapter ISA and many others supported Representitive Joe Farias bill to move the official Texas Arbor Day from the last Friday in April to the first Friday in November.
  
"The first Friday in November of each year is Texas Arbor Day to encourage the planting and cultivation of forest, shade, and ornamental trees throughout the state."
